Current Position and Title:
Dr. Enright joined the Nova Scotia Agriculture College in 1996 and is now an Associate Professor in the Aquaculture Program, Department of Plant and Animal Sciences, NSAC, Truro , Nova Scotia , Canada B2N 5E3 .

Aquaculture Co-ordinator for Nova Scotia , Canada , 1988 – 1996

Professional Interests:
Diets for Bivalves in hatcheries; maximizing the production of omega 3 and 6 fatty acids in selected phytoplankton, using environmental conditions; the development of an algal dietary supplement for dairy cows which will result in an enhanced omega 3 fatty acid content in the milk.

Most Satisfying Achievements/Awards:
Diet development with juvenile oysters; identification of periwinkles as an effective biocontrol organism for algal fouling in oyster aquaculture; identification of hermit crabs as an effective biocontrol organism for animal fouling in oyster aquaculture.

Family and Personal Interests/Activities:
Cathy enjoys her small seaside bungalow in the countryside and her large garden.
She enjoys jogging and riding her bicycle along the ocean.
