Current Position and Title:
Steve is a visiting post-doctoral fellow in the Laboratory of Cellular & Molecular Biology at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland. He studies ubiquitin ligases and cell receptor regulation.

Professional Interests:
Steve's interests are as diverse as his field: from host-pathogen interactions, to cell signaling. His passion is to understand the molecular aspects of disease for the design of new targeted therapies.
Most Satisfying Achievements/Awards to Date:
His most satisfying achievement to date was to serve as an undergraduate course instructor while completing his Ph.D. studies. Several voluntary positions have also been quite satisfying for Steve: from fundraising during his graduate studies, to serving on a Board of Directors and his local PTA.

Family and Personal Interests/Activities:
Steve spends his spare time with his wife & daughter, and enjoys traveling, documentaries, daily exercise and back-yard astronomy.
